Can I replace 8GB motherboard with 16GB?

I have an 8GB Nexus 7 that I would like to upgrade to 16GB. Is this as simple as removing the motherboard from my 8GB tablet and replacing it with a motherboard from a 16GB tablet?

Thanks. It actually does look like a fairly simple swap. I assume the 32MB board would work in the 8GB tablet too, right?

Paul yes you can do that. Not sure what you mean by simple :-) but that would be the only way to upgrade your memory.
