Hi!
I just repaired the fan of my Macbook Air '13.
Now I have another issue. The cable won't insert into the logicboards connector!! After lifting the "flap" i can only get it in halfway. The white line on the cable is where it stops inserting! Please help, my fan doesn't run at all !

Review this iFixIt guide MacBook Air 13" Mid 2011 Logic Board Replacement. Look at Step 7 picture note the white line is parallel to the connector body. In your picture it appears the ribbon is at an angle. Release the latch again and squarely insert it again. Did it get in the rest of the way?

It is paralllell now but still won't get in!
Take a picture of the end of the ribbon cable so we can see whats stopping it. Take a picture of both sides as close up as you can get that still is sharp. You may need a new fan if it's damaged.
I have no access to computer atm (obviously) but i'll upload later. Can i solder it?
Any luck on the pictures?

Can you take some pictures of the cable and the location on the logic board so we can see what you'er encountering here. Also please supply the last four digits of your serial number so we can correctly identify the exact model.
