screen shows vertical blur after drop, should I unlock/jailbreak..?

So I dropped the phone, (first time an iphone has been damaged from a slight drop) and it still worked but the screen went wonky with a vertical blur and I could not use any function, but the info was all still there when I plugged it into the computer.

Bit the bullet and bought a 16Gig for $90 before I found this site...

So I did a screen swap and tried to keep using the 32Gig phone, but found that even with the logic board from the 32, it only shows as having 16G... this !@#$%^ me off.

Question is: Best course of action... do I buy a new screen and have 2 phones, possibly sell one, unlock the 32 while keeping the 16 under ATT...?
