Are the coloured parts on the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 interchangeable?

My brother and I are looking to change the colours of our iPhone, mine is a black iPhone 4 and his is a white iPhone 4S, we'd like to swap colours. So my question is, can we just swap the couloured front and back components, and if so, how would we go about doing so?

Hi

The Front comprises of LCD and Digitizer and the Connectors are different for Iphone 4S and iphone 4 hence No they are not interchangeable.

and the back panel is also not interchangeable probably because it has different spacing for locks on both this iphone. you can have a look at the difference here
