Touchscreen will not work?

Accidentally dropped phone in water for a very short period of time. Dried phone out throughly with rice, etc. Phone powers on, will sync, will play music with headphones, will ring and display messages but touchscreen will not work.

Sounds like a bad digitizer, you can replace it for around $70, for the part.

If you don't want to do a complex repair, you can instead replace the more expensive display assembly.
