Water fills drum occasionally with washer off, no error code?

Occasionally the bottom of the drum is filled with water the morning after successfully completing the cycles and removing the clothes. Sometimes it spills out on the floor. The washer is off and there are no error codes. Don't know what triggers it or how long it takes because it happens overnight.

Options

Anthony Schaffhauser, check the water inlet valves. It is possible that they are leaking allowing water to enter even with the machine off. The valves are located at the back of the washer. Check the little screen filter at the water inlet first. If that filter (screen)is okay, check the water inlet solenoids, you will need an ohmmeter for that. You can get the service manual for your washer from here for an explanation of the testing procedure. The water valve assembly is available at places like this. Hope this helps, good luck.
