My phone will not turn on, I have tryed everything!

My Samsung phone has gone black. I tryed everything to get it back working. I have taken the battery out and left it for a while i have tryed rebooting it (volume up button, home button and on/off button) also left it on the charge for 2 days and 2 nights. This isn't an old phone. Has anyone had the same troubles with this phone? I would be forever greatful if you could help. As most people my phone is my everything. Thanks <3

how did that happened . . it would be really helpful in pin pointing the issue if we can know more about the history of the phone

did it came in contact of water or was it dropped or anything of that sort ?

No, it has never been in contact with water. The night that it happened my sisters was playing games on it because i had downloaded new ones. Also earlyer that day my phone was fully charged then it turned off and when i turned it back on the battery said it was almost out. I hope tht help a little

instead of wiping all the data just the option "reboot the system now"

my phone doesnt come on at all , nothing happens at all when plugged in or on battery power , not even a light , nothing , worked fine yesterday and last night . middle of the night asked for password so i did a battery pull in the morning , phone has absolutely no response since help

This happened to me after playing games until the battery is totally drain out.

Try this.

1. remove the existing battery.

2. install a new battery.

3. Turn on your phone.

After your phone turned on again, you can recharged the old battey again and can use it on your phone. Seems like the phone does not recognized a drain out battery.

Hope this will work on your phone.

I have had this happen too. My phone had 1/2 of it's battery life when I put it on the charger. It was charging and went black. I followed the video to no avail. I went to my At&t store for help, they told me to buy a new battery at Battery Plus (at&t didn't have the battery in stock). I went to the Battery Plus store and the nice clerk checked my battery first to see if that was the problem. It turns out that my battery is in working order. He said it would be a waste of my money to buy a new battery since the battery was fine, the phone itself is the problem. What else do y'all have for solutions? I am open to another solution. Unfortunately I feel that there is nothing else to do since the At&t store had no idea as to what to do either.

Well don't listen to the people at art they don't know $@$* cause dude is right its the battery try it and put new battery in it once it is fully charged you can put old battery back in and it will charge every time I promise

SUGGESTIONS:

1. Get a new battery and try it

2. Replace the motherboard with a new one

3. Send the phone to samsung so they will fix it free of charge

I got the same problem, my grand was playing games then the phone restarted alone then I put on charge and when I opened the phone it was black and did not started

I'm also facing same issue , it was switched off in the middle of conversation and not comimg up even if tried new battery

I have the same problem - phone was fully charged, just went dead, while sitting on my desk at work. It's never been wet, never had games on it - only used it for phone calls so far. I've only had it for a week - really crappy product obviously from the comments above. I plan to take it back to the retailer and demand my money back - will never buy a Samsung again.

This problem happened to me .. i charged my phone all day and wen i went to go on it it just wouldnt turn on .. this iis because it has over-charged which means the phone loses energy quick and doesnt turn on .. the way to solve this problem is simple .. take out the battery and leave it out for a minuete or so, then put it back in and put the phone on charge then press the home button and on/off button at the same time and hold .. hopefully it should turn (u might have to wait for a bit)
