The MacBook Pro late 2011 came in just 2 configurations, these are: 2.4 GHz (2435M) Intel Core i5 with 3 MB on-chip L3 cache or 2.8 GHz (2640M) Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge with 4 MB on-chip L3 cache

i suppose you have the 2nd one and thats the highest configuration supported by the motherboard of late 2011 macbook pro's

Also in late 2011 Apple didn't gave a option to customize processor so these would be the only 2 processors configuration that would be available in market.

So probably if you are really looking for a better configuration then probably you have to buy a new one.
