iPhone 3GS has white screen and lcd not working

HELP! I have recently tried to repair my iphone 3gs because of a cracked screen I only half completed the repair because the battery was totally dead.

the iphone now has a white screen. It shows up in itunes but because there is a passcode i can't restore or anything.

i have tried the POWER+HOME method and the screen still will not do anything.

i purchased the lcd separately to the digitiser, could that be why?

i followed all instructions on youtube but still nothing.. what can I do??

You can follow the steps :-

1. Charge your battery for more then 50% at-least.

2. Check the LCD connector has it been seated on the logic board properly.

3. check if, it still works with your cracked display (if it was in a state to show something on screen) if it does then there is some issue with the new display that you got need to get a new one or replacement for it.

Having different or separate lcd , digitizer should not create any problem.

Also the LCD cable connector is sensitive from the place where it connects to LCD glass, So take more care when you handling the LCD.
