iPod with an X on the screen HOW TO FIX!

Hithere my ipod classic is being realy weard i can try to turn it on and it will go to white screen then to a red circle with an x. I dont know what to do please respond to this thank you.

clayton, the white screen with a red X usually means that it can not access your hard drive. Place your iPod into Diagnostics mode and see what the HDD test will show you. Most likely you will have to replace the hard drive. Follow this guide to work on it. You did not mention exactly which model iPod you have nor what size hard drive, so I can not link the proper drive for you. Hope this helps, good luck.
