Why won't the left side of my screen work after screen installation?

I have recently installed a new iPhone 4S LCD screen on my iPhone and the screen looks and works perfectly except for the left edge. I don't know the problem but will be greatly appreciated if I could have some assistance.

Options

Make sure the connecters are seeded correctly if that doesn't work it's a faulty LCD ..
