After Replacing HD the Fan is Always on

I replaced the original 120 gb 5400 rpm drive which was making a lot of noise in my A1226 with a 320 Gig Seagate 7200 RPM drive. Since that time the fan runs constantly from Boot. Before this, It would run depending on how hard the CPU was running, but now if everything is Idle the fan will still runs.

The only thing I can think of is I did not do a clean install on the new Drive I just copied off a Super duper archive, but I may be wrong about that.

Any thoughts?

Did you connect the heat sensor back on logic board?

I didn't remember taking it off. I did just check the Hard drive replacement instructions and the Heat Sink Replacement instructions and the Sensor Cable is nowhere near where I was working, unless thre is another cable I don't know about.

At last try AHT (apple hardware test) and tell us what errors is giving.

If nothing instal smc fan control and adjust minimal rpm manualy
