Trackpad doesn't work correctly

I bought an used PB for my son.

The trackpad pushbutton doesn't work that good. It doesn't "click" like I use to know it from mine. Often I have to press

the pushbutton more than one time. It is not aout of order, but it could be much better.

What can I do?

Thank you!

regards from Germany

Hi. The only repair for the trackpad I know of is to replace the top case as it is built in. I'm including the teardown and part number for this repair. If it were me however I would just buy a USB mouse and use that. ( A whole lot less money) Ralph

Sounds like you may have gotten something in the side or under the pad. Take a thin stiff piece of plastic and run it around the pad to see if you can dislodge anything.
