My screen is all wonky?

While browsing Instagram, I went to my friend's page. All of a sudden, the device froze. I pressed the power button to turn it off, then tried to turn it back on. It didn't turn on, but I could faintly see an outline of the items I had been looking at. When I hold the power button for a moment, it flashes, but goes back to black. What does that mean?

If you can faintly see the outline of your desktop, just not lit, that means that your backlight is out. It could be the backlight on the LCD or the backlight circuitry on the logic board. I'd start by resetting the device. If that does not help, you may have to replace the LCD. Hope this helps, good luck.

Try pressing power button for ~30seconds to reset device.

Also, I had a brightness software installed that dims brightness to zero, it´s a low chance, but maby consider a software setting brightness to zero too.

Charge it. Power supply failure perhaps. Mine acted like that ...new power supply fixed it.
