My laptop is switching on but not displaying anything.why?

i cannot see the display on my laptop.but the fan inside the laptop is on .but it is not displaying anything

see if can attach a monitor to display anything but it also could be that the graphics went out. sry

I have IBM T43-009 Laptop,it turn on and it show the led light as well as the pan is running but it can not display any thing on the screen.I try to remove the battery and AC adapter to drainage off the electrostatic charge for 20 second and power it on again using Ac adapter,it did not work I even change the RAM chip ,it still fail and I disassemble everything even the screen to see the video connector if it is loos but I get everything on connector is fine and finally I try with an external monitor ,it fail to display.

please what could be the problem really?
