Need help identifying broken parts

Hello everyone,

I have broken pixels on my laptop display. Would you help me identify what is broken please?

Based on the installation guides, I don't know if it's the "display assembly" or the "LVDS Display cable" that I should replace.

On the right hand of the Macbook you can see the problem I'm facing: http://sdrv.ms/Y7CLWX

I know that sometimes, when I pivot the screen the "dead pixels" are back to normal.

Your help would be appreciated :)

Thanks

maximedelneuf, I think the key here is " when I pivot the screen the "dead pixels" are back to normal" I would suggest that you replace the LVDS cable. It may have a broken wire that is responsible for this problem. If nothing else, it is also cheaper than a new display. Follow this guide to repair the cable.
