No start up chime, fan runs screen changes color when starting up, Will not start up in single user, verbose or target mode.

Try reseting the open firmware. Hold down command, option, O, F. Then once in the open firmware screen type: "reset-nvram" press enter. Then type "reset-all" press enter. This should help the computer start in target disk, verbose, or single user. If you have video distortion on the screen more than likely it is the logic board.
