A Few Unasked Spill/Keyboard Questions...
Ive searched the Forums for a few minutes and cant find this any where.
Several days ago I spilled some juice on my MacBook(A1278, 2.0Ghz). Luckily it was only in the far corner(where the power button is)so my logic board was fine. I tore it down to be sure. Now the Power button sticks like Crazy. Its VERY difficult to press and it only returns to its "At Rest" position after a bit of coaxing. It still turns on and runs fine, but it is very annoying. Does anybody have a way that I could clean it to keep it from sticking? Dribble iso or ethyl Alchohol on it? Anything?
Ive also got a similar question. I need a new F12(Vol Up) Key and scissor, but i cant find a source that strikes me as reliable. Thats all I need, just that single key and its scissor.
Any ideas?
Is this a good question?
