Right Side of iPod touch 4g is not responding

The right side of my iPod touch 4g is not responding. In August 2012 i had the touchscreen replaced and after that everything was fine. But since one month the right side started to not respond. Sometimes the right side is opening apps itself or marking letters on its own.

Things i already tried to do:

well i opend the iPod and reconnected the connection between the iPod and the screen. In the beginning it helped to shake it, or to turn it of. But now nothing is working and the space with the problem is getting bigger. Today i made a Hard Reset, but that didnt help.

The digitizer is what controls the touch screen function. Its part of the screen assembly. On the 4th Gen iPod Touch its all glued together. Its about a $20 part most places to buy a new screen assembly. The guide here will show you step by step how to replace. If you have already opened it up then you have at least a good idea of whats going on inside there. That will most likely resolve the problem. I've fixed a few hundred of these 4th gen's and just about any and every screen related issue was actually the screen and nothing else. So a new one should get you back up and running.

I had a similar thing happened. The solution for mine was to reattach the digitizer connector in the iPod.

The digitizer connector is the one under the motherboard not the one on top of the motherboard.
