Blown input voltage protection diode

I've accidentally put too much voltage (>6v) on the Vin, and blown the voltage input protection diode. I can't seem to locate it on the board. Any ideas as to it's location, and how to verify? Excellent close up pictures of the main board are shown in the teardown guide, step 13. The battery in prongs are the 3 gold fins surrounded by black at the bottom of pic 2. I think the diode should be nearby, but I can't identify it. Perhaps the diode marked "BB"?

Lots of thanks for a clue!

Why do you figure that it is a diode?

Did it solve the problem after replacing that fuse?

Tim Lim, it is difficult to identify SMD components just by looking at it. there are no designators so without a schematic, it is more of a guessing game. Check the component that I marked, it does look like a fuse. Check it for continuity.

I tested all the componants looking as a fuze and could not identify any of them missfunctionning. I have no idea how to fix it unfortunatelly. If anyone has the clue, please let me know.

For anyone who might have a similar issue in the future, I found that there is NO overvoltage protection on the power management unit, the AS3713PMU. Any overvoltage will likely result in the Power Mangement Unit to fail, which can be indicated by a massive power drain and heat signature of the PMU. (I verified this with a thermal imaging camera) Unfortunately, I was unable to source another AS3713PMU, so the camera was cannibalized for spare parts, namely the lens components.

If anyone hopes to power the camera from an alternate external power source, do keep it less than 5 volts!
