Lower Case Replacement - but different 'black sticker' inside.

Hi!

My lowercase looks like this:

I would like to buy a new one, but in the market I see it with different 'black sticker' inside, like this: http://www.thebookyard.com/images/922-97...

I'm not sure if is there any functionality of the black sticker inside.

What do you guys think, is is still compatible?

The plastic sheeting is used as an insulator to protect things from sorting against the housing. The cutouts are for the fans on the model this case was intended for, so the fans don't touch the housing (I think because of vibration).

Not an answer just some info. I haven't tried swapping the cases so I can't answer your Q.

I would query the vendor and ask for a guarantee that they are compatible. (you haven't given information about the year/model of your second image and with no points of reference no one could tell). You could easily make a template and copy or correct the insulation cut outs but real issue is if the logic board screws and ports match up.
