Logic Board Replaced due to water damage/corrosion

My macbook started acting up a month and a half ago i took it to an official apple reseller to repair it. They quoted it was water damage and would cost £274, so i paid cause i needed it back. They've replaced the keyboard and the top body but nothing on the inside. I get it home and its acting up again so i've taken it back now its fully died and the company has told me the water has corroded the logic board and it needs a new one. I believe i shouldn't have to pay again because they overlooked the problem last time. Also im wondering if its worth replacing the logic board AGAIN as i did in early 2012 when my electric fried it. I want opinions as to what to do.

Since you're in the UK I believe you have some options that US Citizens do not. If you paid for your "repair" with a credit card I'd get them involved with the fact the "repair" was only a partial one, things were overlooked, and you're not satisfied (if you paid by cash or check you're on your own there). Only you can determine if it's cost effective to replace the logic board.

You might also contact Apple about their "official repair" site not doing a complete job.

Good Luck,
