Screen goes black if VSync cable is connected?

Hi everybody!

I've got the following issue: after replacing my broken VSync cable the iMac's screen stays black.

If I detatch I have an image, but of course without the sync cable attached it flickers from time to time depending on the image displayed.

Any thoughts on that?

Thanks!

Connect to an external monitor. If you have a video problem it's your VGC (VGU).

Well, as I mentioned, the inbuilt display is working if I detach the sync cable, so the VGC / VGU seems to be fine. But thanks anyway!
