Mac mini not powering up

Just installed ssd drive as video tutorial. Everything went really smoothly until i plugged it in.

Tried pressing the power button nothing happened, no light ,no fan, no sounds absolutely nil.

Checked fuse in plug, checked power cord voltage at power supply all good.

Disassembled and reassembled no missing connectors everything fine still will not working. Can anyone give me any ideas, is this a known issue with power supplies or am i missing something. i'm normally good with windows pcs stand alones etc but this has got me baffled. Only had it 4 months from new and my first mac upgrade.

Whenever I get stumped to this level, I put it back to the last known working configuration. In this case, the old hard drive. Try putting that back in and see what happens.

Just what i thought, tried taking hard drive sata cable out to firstly swap drives, don,t know if they superglued the drive cable in but it just would not pull out. finally gave it a bit too much of a pull and the cable pulled away from connector, now totally useless. Had to order another cable from china waiting for it now(10 Days). Why can we not get any spares here in the UK always USA or China. Let you know what happens.
