Phone will not hold charge.

My phone will not hold charge and when I attempt to charge with the wall and car charger this message appears, "Charging is not supported with this accessory". I took phone to Apple Genius/Idiots and they ran diagnostics and cleaned my phone and said nothing is wrong with it. However, the phone will not hold a charge.

Please help?

Have you tried a restore? Or new battery? That's all I can think of that might fix it.
