I can't see video but my MacBook works
Ciao,
after a glass of water my macbook pro became dark screen.
It starts, and connecting to a TV by HDMI using the display mini port works.
The problem is...do i need to change the LVDS cable? the screen ? or logic board problem?
Thanks in advance
Update
I found some problem on the lvds mb connector.
Is here a way to resolder it?
Take a look at the connector:
Is this a good question?

Sure, i can see desktop flashing a light directly to my lcd screen.
The problem now is..after resoldering the connector to mb ..what else could be blown?? and how to identify....

Which solder job did you do ? The first pins on the LVDS socket ? So now you get video but backlight is non working ? Your display connector seems to be damaged too but I could not see a complete image of it in your pict. You should also check the backlight fuse on your logic board. It could be blown and need to be replaced. I don't know where its located on your board, maybe someone here can chime in and indicate the fuse location. Often the fuse is not too far from the LVDS connector, it a brown IC and has a white P or a white dot on the top of it.
