Hello, I have no backlight. I have schematic diagram, but I don't know the component distribution in the board, so is very difficult for me to locate the different components.

if some body knows how to fix the problem, I would be grateful.

EstEban, if you post a clear image of your logic board, front and back side, I am sure lemerise et al. can point the components out for you.

Chosen Solution

First check the LVDS socket on the logic board (and the display connector) with a loupe or a microscope for desoldered pins or electrical short damage (black spots). Second, verify the backlight fuse. On the A1342 logic board the fuse is a 0402 IC, has brown color and a white dot on the top of it. The fuse is pretty small, located to the upper left of the LVDS connector. Use a multimeter to check continuity (probe on each side of the fuse). If the LVDS socket is not damaged and the fuse has a closed circuit then LED driver could be the culprit (not easy to replace).

In my case the LVDS cable is missing a pin, my computer technician had to break it. may be due to the pin does not work the backlight? if I change the cable be solved or fuse will already died? Thanks!
