What tools do I need?
I just cracked my screen on the HP Envy dv6; what tools should I use? Also, do you have any suggestions regarding where I can buy the screen?

You will need the following tools to complete the removal and replacement procedures:
● Flat-bladed screw driver
● Magnetic screw driver
● Phillips P0 and P1 screw driver
Get the service manual for your computer from here It will show exactly how to do it. As for where to purchase your LCD, that is entirely up to you. The service manual does have the part numbers for the different LCD options. You might want to try a Google search and see what you come up with. Hope this helps, good luck
