How do you put the Serial # that is on the bottom of the pedestal back into the firmware or whatever so it will show up in the System Profiler?
I've gotten this "fixed" with the "serializer" but I'm still not sure how it was lost!
Is this a good question?

Sounds like your logic board has been replaced. Any Authorized Service Provider will have the software to put the serial number in.

It would've had to be me that took it into a service facility to change out a logic board and I didn't!
