How do I replace the sim reader in an LG P880 after I broke a prong?

i was inserting a micro sim in an adapter but it fell out. because the adapter has a recessed space for the sim. i had inserted the adapter far enough for the sim prongs to press up into the recess before i realised the sim was out of place. i tried to remove the adapter but it was stuck. instead of calmly thinking about what i was doing i got &%#*^@ off and yanked it out. the prongs came out with the adapter. i was able to bend two of them back in to position but one snapped off in the process. any ideas on a repair solution?

colroo1, it is soldered unto the board. It is available, just search for part EAG63193601. Of course, it will depend on where you live:-). So I would suggest to disassemble the phone, de-solder the old SIM reader and replace it. Not an easy job, but doable. Check this video if you need help with the disassembly. Hope this helps, good luck.
