Hello,

I have the same problem as described Ben. The Laptop HP 635 starts with blank screen and then just shuts down automatically after 30 sec..

Any suggestions?

Do you get any POST Beep when you start it up?

It seems that there are some problems with power part. When I disassembly my laptop I saw that CPU looks fried.. My future knowledge stops here..

Any suggestions how to check CPU and power part on motherboard?

Options

Edis, remove your battery, your AC power supply and your RAM. Hold the start button for about 10-20sec. After that reinstall your battery and one memory module. Try to restart your laptop and see what you get. Hope this helps, good luck.
