Won't turn on after I bought new "generic" charger

I bought this charger: http://dx.com/p/45w-ac-power-adapter-cha... and used it for 2 days.

I never turn my macbook air off, so I put it to sleep one day and after about two hours I tried to use it, but it wouldn't wake up. No fans, no screen, no noise. Nothing at all. It was dead. (It was plugged on the generic charger during all this time)

The thing is: I don't think the new charger caused the problem (although is the only thing that should make sense):

When I plug the new charger OR the original charger, I get a green light. I opened the macbook, disconnected the battery, plugged the AC charger and tried to power it. This didn't work either.

Is it possible to be a magsafe problem, even if the light on the AC charger is green?

My warranty ended two months ago and I have no idea what the problem can be. Any thoughts?

PS: I have tried everything like PRAM and SMC reset, cmd+control+power. Also tried to leave it for 24 hours without charging and then tried to power it on again. Nothing worked. Nothing happened. It is completely dead.

See this article try to run AHT and see if it finds a hardware problem. While the charger is the not OEM, and might be a "logical" cause for the problem it could also be a coincidental hardware fault.
