How do I exchange MacBok displays with different cables & connectors?

To my dismay I had to realize that a display from my 30 month old MacBook does not fit into my 41 month old one and vice versa.

On the picture below one can see the three antenna cables (black, blue, and grey) and the connector which is being slided into its socket from the side. This is the 41 month old device, 1.83 GHz:

This image here shows only the cables black and grey and a connector which is pushed into its socket from above. That is from the 30 month old device, 2.2 GHz:

With such a constellation I am quite at a loss what to do.

Thank you.

it's not really a problem.

the black cable is the inverter cable - remove the lcd bezel and you can change the cable.

there are 2 kinds of airport cards - some have 2 and others have 3 antennas - each cable goes to an antenna
