Where is the imei stored on motherboard

Hi,

is someone knowing where is the imei stored on the motherboard? Is it writed on it? Is it posibile to see it if the motherboard is out of order?

This chip performs more than just the baseband function. On the iPhone 4, everything is on the NAND, including the IMEI, serial number etc. These are stored in special partitions on the NAND. Check on here if you need to see that partition. So to answer your question, no you can not see if it is out of order unless it is properly installed. Hope this helps, good luck.
