No start following a hinge check

I have a MacBook Pro that will not start at all following a work mate attempt to tighten the hinge mount screws.

I suspect a bad logic board from static damage as he did not use a wrist strap.

The DC board seems to charge battery and goes green / orange under charge as normal

Pressing the switch makes the fans 'twitch' but no boot.

Would this point to a bad logic board? or could this still be the DC I/O board.

I have tested the memory and have powered on with every possible cable connector disconnected and also one at a time so the external parts are not the problem.

The machine had a disappearing iSight camera problem before this occurred as was working fine before the hinge check.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

This issue was resolved and was the logic board. Replaced logic board and machine works well. iSight camera does not work however but I am sure this is the cable as it is a new iSight cam.
