Upgrading a 2TB HD to a 3TB HD?

I understand that these models have a temperate sensor attached to the hard drive, and if you don't purchase the correct hard drive replacement, your fan will spin at full speed. Currently I have a 2TB Hitachi HDS722020ALA330 installed. I would like to upgrade it to a 3TB model. Anybody have any suggestions?
