got wet can it be repaired?
i briefly dunked it in water ..now wont charge or even turn on

Remove the battery cover and battery. Let it sit in a warm/sunny spot (not in direct sunlight though). Let it dry out for a day or two at a minimum. Pop the battery back in and give it a try. It may not work, but it's worth a shot.

On our last day in maui i went to deep with our regular point and shoot underwater camera and flooded it. The camera would not power up when we got back to the condo. In a desperate move I removed battery, SD card and opened every door that I could and placed it in the oven at 120 degrees F for 4 hours. Didn't really expect much but the camera turned on and has continued to work for a year now without any issues.
If its dead how much worst can it get??! Its worth a try :P
