How can I fix my MacBook air mid 2011 charger not working

my macbook air magsafe power adapter stopped working can anyone tell me how apple will fix for free warranty did run out so thats my issue and this has happend before my warranty ran out and they fixed it if anyone can help me my mac has about 2 Hours of battery left currently at 5:09 PM today so i would like to get this charged ASAP and i have no money to spend also i will be checking here every hour as im turning my macbook air off

Hello Brian,

First of all you need to make CERTAIN its the Magsafe Charger and not your Air. Easiest way to accomplish this is to get another Magsafe from somewhere. If you don't have another you could try utilizing one thats inside an Apple store, or you could just purchase a new one.

If the new charger works, you solved your issue! If it doesn't well then you got some work to do. Let us know how testing with a known good Magsafe goes, we are here to help!

it is the magsafe i tried the ones at school on my air and i just need to get another one for free or fix it manually if you can help

Fixing chargers is a very very delicate and dangerous job. It is best just to replace them. I know its probably what you don't want to hear, but in the realm of personal safety and the safety of your computer, you should buy a new one.

im fine with it being delicate and dangerous i am willing to try fixing it as it is the part of the cord near magnetic part of the plugin
