display issue, shadow on right side
Greetings,
I recently purchased a Late 2008 Aluminum Macbook - MB467LL/A - MacBook5,1 - A1278, to repair and use for myself. The display has an issue that I would like some advice on. When the macbook boots up, the left side of the screen is the normal bright white color, but a portion on the right side of the display is very dim/dark, like a shadow. Then in about 10 secs or so the right side lights up, normal and everything looks perfect. When using the macbook the screen has no issues, it displays correctly. If the computer screen, dims or powers down when I havent touched the keyboard in a while, when I reactivate the macbook, the dim right side is back again, for the same 10-15 secs before, returning to the normal expected display. I have provided a link to a few images of what I am experiencing. If anyone knows the problem and a possible fix, I would appreciate any advice.

Is this a good question?

Try it with an external display? If the external does the same thing - bad news- you need a new logic board. If the external behaves fine the problem is in the internal display chain... possibly a cable (because it is intermittent).

I tested the Macbook on an external monitor and the shadow problem does not appear. So at this point you feel the issue lies in the intenal display chain. How would I go about finding and fixing this problem. Thank you so much for your help, I appreciate it.
