Can I change Logic Board with EMC 2428

Hi,

I would like to know whether I can replace my broken Logic Board of iMac MID 2010 i3 3,2 Ghz with the newer i5 2,4 Ghz logic board of an iMac MID 2011 EMC 2428. Would it fit in exactly ?

Hi, ralfknicker!

Have you tried to swap 2010 and 2011 logic boards? As far as I can see they have different connections for cables (camera, bluetooth etc.).

They are both models A1311. I don't know why this couldn't be done.
