MacBook Pro won't boot up

Hey guys,

Yesterday I shut off my MacBook Pro to fly somewhere. When I arrived and tried to boot up my Mac it went to the gray screen the global sign blinked three times and the apple appeared. The load bar appeared but when it reached a quarter of the way through the computer shut off.

Thanks for assistance.

Options

Try starting up holding down the Shift key. What operating system are you running?
