I have a HDD in its normal place and a SSD in my old Optical drive(via double adaptor).
I would like to place Boot disk OS on SSD before i swop places with HDD,is this possible?.
Or do i have to do a fresh reinstall on SSD once i've swopped them over. as i have MacOS on a usb port drive.
Also can you give me a helpful link for moving home folders across drives?.

Download SuperDuper and clone your hard drive, then swap them.
