iPhone 4 - touch not working with any screen

My iPhone 4 stopped responding to touch after a drop. The display looks fine and still turns on, just no input.

I have now tried two different (and genuine) iPhone 4 displays on this iPhone and both showed exactly the same behaviour, even though they did work on other iPhones.

Has anyone ever encountered this? Should I scrap the phone? I guess the digitizer connector on the logic board musst be dead, right?

Thanks,

Chris
