How to turn on my unresponsive fully charged 13 MacBook air

I recently purchased my 13inch mid 2012 macbook air. One night after watching a movie with vlc media player I shut down the laptop normally. As at the time of shut down my macbook was fully charged. I then procedued to unpkug the mac from the wall socket. Two days later when I tried to power on my mac, the laptop unresponsive. The screen showed no signs of life. Upon checking the charge the green led light is on showing that the laptop is fully charged. I have tried all the troubleshoot methods on apples website including resetting the pram and the SMC. Please I would like to avoid going back to the apple store can someone give me some advice. Thanks in advance

I would take it back immediately. I would also get AppleCare on it to extend the warranty.

Some times Macbook Consumes the battery power then last option is to remove the battery from the logic board and power on with charger and use it for few minutes . After 5-10 minutes turn it off and plug the battery connecter to logic board and plug the charger in and turn it on .

Your mac is in warranty so donot worry about this. Visit the service provider so they can check what is the exact issue. Mayer is also right. Buy the Apple protection Plan on it . this will add the 2 year more warranty on your MacBook Air..
