After I changed thermal paste on MB pro A 1211, airport, sound card and usb, well basically left side of the laptop is not working. When I click on airport icon it says no hardware installed. I have checked my connections on logic board three times now and everything is connected. Help, anybody?

Thanks for the fast response. What I would like to know why it`s not seeing left i\o board. Is this a voltage or bad connection related problem?
If it were in my shop, I'd go through reinstalling it, then replace it if it fails.
I was thinking about the same thing. Thanks. I`ll try to reinstall it, although I did not do anything with it during the thermal paste removal, but who knows. Thanks once again. I `ll let you know what happened.
The most difficult thing about this repair that I've experienced is the I/O board cable to the bottom of the logic board. It's easier to remove the cable from the I/O board and put it in the logic board first.
Exactly. That cable is a real sob to connect. BTW I solved the problem. It was the connector that connects logic board with the left io board. Connector seemed fine but after I could not power up the laptop I pressed it once again and sound card worked. After that I used the compressed air to blow out any dust that may be collected inside, reconnected it and every thing worked. I`m happy. Thank you for your help.
