I Have a fat ps3, I want to fix it.
I need help knowing if its the fan or cord outlets or if i need the ylod kit. I tried playing it and the light flash yellow a few times.
Is this a good question?

DeVante, from your scant description, I suppose that it is possible that it is your fan, but experience tells me that you most likely require a YLOD fix. Remember that the YLOD usually requires a lot more than to replace the thermal paste. The YLOD is generated by cracked solder connections on the CPU/GPU. Follow this guide here for the repair. So clean out your vents, clean your fan, apply the YLOD fix, apply new thermal paste, and re-evaluate. Take your time when fixing it and look through the guide a fix times before you attempt this. Always keep in mind that this fix should be considered a temporary fix. A reflow would be a more permanent fix. Hope this helps, good luck.

Devante, that all depends on what is going on with your PS3. It will help tremendously if you give some details. Like what happened to your PS3, what you have tried, what it does or does not do etc. Try to use more than one sentence to give us a better description. Anything else will only lead to guesses.
