My touch screen does not operate, how do I fix it?!

I was sliding on a water slide and i forgot i had my ipod touch of 4th generation in my pocket. And it got a little wet. It turned on but the touch screen did not work.

Hi Jorge,

It could be that there is still water in the iPod. I suppose the LCD still works? Is the battery ok?

I recommend that you open it as soon as possible, remove the motherboard and soak it in isopropyl alcohol (90%). You might clean it with a small brush, too. Then let it dry for a couple of days and assemble the iPod again.

If the touch screen would still not work, you might want to replace it.
