Replacement hard drive has no thermal sensor

I am replacing the hard drive on a 24" intel iMac Model A1200 with a 2.16 Ghz with a core 2 duo EMC 2111. The other was taken by the previous owner. The one I just received from iFixit has no place to attach a thermal sensor, thus the wire from the logic board is not usable. Is this the wrong HD? or is it now possible to use them without the sensor and not worry about hooking the wire from the logic board?

Thanks. I can get the sensor. I thought there would be an insertion point. Thank you both very much. Time to get on line.

The heat sensor on this model just sticks to the hard drive,it does not insert. See step #19 of this guide for placement: iMac Intel 24" EMC 2111 Hard Drive Replacement

Your first option here is to contact the person who took the HD they don't need the sensor (should have left it with the system).

If you can't get it back then your next best choice is to find a replacement part online or via Apple.
