iPhone 4s will not turn on after power/proximity sensor replacement

Hi,

I replaced the power/proximity sensor cable on my iphone 4s. I managed to get it to boot to the logo, but it does not go further. I've been trying to restore it on iTunes and I keep getting error 1611.

Any suggestions?

Options

First- switch the USB port the phone is plugged in to, but don't plug the phone back in yet.

Second- Restart the computer then plug the phone in and immediately restart the phone in DFU mode WHILE CONNECTED to the computer. The computer should pick it up.

Third- Hit restore or restore iphone from backup
