Help can they fit?

Could they be right that I have to change motherboard on my iPhone 4's it was ready to leave so I took it out of the socket and so the screen went black but I can see the lights behind the screen workshop says that the motherboard is damages

Leif Andreasen, are you saying that you unplugged the phone and now it does not work? you can see the icons but it is very dark? Give us some more information

Yes I took it off charge and so the screen went black they look like the lights behind the screen they will say that if I take the sim from the phone so I can see the lights

What they are saying is if you take your SIM card out of your iPhone, while iPhone screen is on, you should see light coming through the holder. This light is your backlight, if you cannot see it this means your backlight is not working.

You can google ways to fix, may need to replace backlight IC and coils. First try to take out battery and leave for 2-3 days then replace and try again.

Yes I can see that the background lights work but they do not come any fixed image and we have tried to switch screens but they do not help the screen is completely black and everything else works

Have you tested to see if the volume works, or vibrate? Does everything actually work?

If so, check to see if there is any corrosion in your digitizer and LCD connections at the top of your screen. If corrosion is present, use isopropyl to remove.
